Nature at Work – A photo a week challenge

`A picture of innocence having completed a raid on our garden plants.

However sometimes you have to give nature a hand when a bird like this –

– flies into your lounge window

My rabbit, birds, frogs and the occasional hedgehog pale into insignificance compared with nature in action on my daughter’s property in the USA. How about watching these from the back of her house.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Wildlife

This is a post that I published on another platform some years ago. I thought it appropriate to add it to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Wildlife

I’m always on the lookout for wildlife to photograph when I’m out. Quite often it’s small creatures that catch my eye.

Caterpillar on the ground

It’s the caterpillar that does all the work but the butterfly or moth that gets all the publicity.

If you are a birdwatcher there will come a time when it seems the bird is watching you.

But you wonder how these fellows stay so clean as they approach the mud.

Drakes in their element

When it comes to colours, a snail stands out

Sometimes wildlife comes to you – like these two in the Michigan dusk.
