Nancy’s challenge this week is for new photos, so here’s what I took this morning

I have photographed this tree over a number of years as it is slowly dying. Each year the number of new shoots appear on the thickest branches – I’ll shoot it again later in the year to catch the few that appear.

That home made sign appeared on the roadside just in time for the Christmas rush. The shop’s still there but I don’t know about the turkeys.

In fact this is a photograph of an hotel reproduced on a tarpaulin attached to a fence. The hotel itself is 400 yards away down a long drive.

This is the hotel at Kirklevington which has become The Country House Hotel of the Year 2018 in an hotel guide. I always wonder how this is possible when the sign appeared in November 2017.
The hotel got its name as it used to be where judges stayed while they were sitting at the local Crown Court.
Finally something entirely new – they were not there yesterday.

Now all that remains for you is to check out other new shoots at A Photo a Week Challenge: New
Bob, what a great bunch of new photos. 🙂 I’m looking forward to seeing what your dying tree does later this year. My husband is fascinated by dying and dead trees. Thanks for joining the challenge!
